Notice: Renovation Work and Temporary Closure of the 6th-Floor Observation Bath (Scheduled for Mid-January to Early February)

Information for customers

Thank you for your continued patronage of Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu. We are writing to inform you that we will be conducting renovation work on the 6th-floor observation bath starting in mid-January 2027. We sincerely apologize for the significant inconvenience caused, as we will be fully closed for the majority of the renovation period. We kindly ask for your understanding.

【6th-Floor Observation Bath Renovation Period】
January 13, 2027 (Wed) – Morning of February 13, 2027 (Sat) (Scheduled)

【Temporary Full Facility Closure Period】
Afternoon of January 12, 2027 (Tue) – February 5, 2027 (Fri) (Scheduled)

※ Operations are scheduled to resume for stays starting February 6, 2027 (Sat); however, please note that the 6th-floor observation bath will remain closed for use due to ongoing construction from February 6 (Sat) through February 12 (Fri). We ask that you please take this into account when making your reservation. (Note: The unit baths and shower booths within individual guest rooms will remain available for use.)
